THIS PAGE IS STILL BEING CREATED! THANKS FOR YOUR PATIENCE AND PLEASE CHECK BACK SOON!
This is where you will find a lot of information about how we have chosen to do things on our farm. In general, we seek a great connection to our land, and that which sustains us, and our farming practices reflect that. We realize that there are many ways to go about homesteading, livestock husbandry, and gardening. However, these very natural methods are what works for us, and we advocate them. Please, do not consider the descriptions of our practices on par with veterinary advice. All homesteads are different, and you should always do what is best for your unique farm and situation. And, always seek veterinary advice when appropriate.
The goal from day one has always been to create a cyclical system where every element of the farm, from the main house to the chicken coop, is integrated in such a way that the waste from one element fuels the next. We are still dependent on several outside resources, but are well on our way to a truly sustainable and self-contained system. Follow the below links to get more in depth information about each element of our farm!
